Saturated fats have to be bashed because they are synonymous with animal fats. Bashing animal fats is a part of the BS diet-heart narrative that just won’t die and fits neatly in the industry backed ‘eat lots of carbs’ (our mono-crops) mantra.

Describing animal fats as saturated is an over simplification because all fats contain SFA, PUFA & MUFA in varying degrees and lard is predominantly a MUFA.

So, saturated fats are bad for you because we’ve been telling people that for years, simple.
